As a writer, Allison focuses on mystery and romantic suspense. Her focus is to relay the intricacies of human relationships, of trauma, and how the world affects us — and how we react to the world. With mental illness playing a massive part in her life, it’s only natural that themes of mental health come through in her work.

She studied English and creative writing with a concentration in fiction, but she also specializes in SEO and content creation. Currently, she works full-time for a marketing and branding agency

Although she began showing symptoms at age 16, Allison was diagnosed with bipolar disorder at 21, later receiving the additional diagnosis of psychosis a few years later. After a very long journey with her illness, she now speaks openly about her experiences with hospitalization, suicide, hallucinations, and electroconvulsive therapy.
